Progress is a good thing. I’ve managed to beat my writing in such a way that I’m a little less ashamed of it than I was a month ago. While I’m not destined to win any literature awards, I believe I’ve done well enough to make a reader focus on the story and not my failures with composition. So, the situation is thus. I have completed my edits. I’m going to try and get another mock copy into my hands for one last review before Halloween. One way or another, I will be ready to have the book online for purchase by then. I do have plans for an ebook version, but that’s in the air for the moment. I will have two hard-copy versions to begin. One is a square bound binding and the other will come in digest form. The newest cover version is on site for examination. I don’t like it as much as my other cover, but the few I’ve shared it with disagree. So, what do I know? I do know this: there's something fairly appropriate about putting out this post 13 days before the deadline. It wasn't planned that way. |
